Should I hold my stock, or sell it?
We at AgFeed do not and cannot respond to this type of question.
We point out, however, that we are actively building a solid international agribusiness. Only a few years ago we were merely engaged in the business of manufacturing pre-mix feed for the hog business in China. Today we have a broad based animal nutrition business focused on serving the hog production business in China, while we also have substantial businesses in hog production in both the China and the U.S. In 2007 our consolidated revenue was $37 million, while according to Wall Street estimates we will reach well over $400 million in 2011 and produce close to 2 million market hogs. With our acquisition of M2P2 signaled our entry into the U.S. hog production business it also established us as one of the global leaders in hog production based on all metrics of efficiency and productivity.
In China our leadership has implemented a strategy of "AgFeed, Government & Farmer" which has resulted in the local governments of Dahua and Xinyu to partner with us in the building of modern western-style hog production centers, firsts in China.
You will have to make up your own mind regarding the facts surrounding our business and the opportunity that is presented. We would suggest that you ignore the ill informed "babble" on the message boards and accurately assess the growth opportunity presented by our unique operating position.
