Given the $14.9 million loss for Chinese Legacy Farms for 2010, what are the expectations for 2011 on the legacy farms that remain in operation but produced a $6 million loss in 2010?
We do not publicly offer guidance. In addition to assessing fair value of our farms over Q3 and Q4 our management team also evaluated each farm to establish specific actions steps for a return to profitability. We believe our actions at December 31st with respect to farm closures set in motion the first necessary steps in this plan by addressing profitability at the gross profit level. Our team is highly focused on restoring profitability within the system of farms being retained. Results going forward will be impacted by closing costs associated with the farms that are being wound down, the timing of the capital improvements on the farms being retained and the biological constraints and time line of our efforts. It is important to remember that in an animal breeding operation actions taken today may not be evident in our results for a period of time.
